American fashion brand Ralph Lauren will be an entrepreneur at Metavers

American fashion brand Ralph Lauren is preparing to enter Metavers soon as the company has submitted nine trademark applications to the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for the Polo, Ralph Lauren and its polo player logos. Its applications cover virtual fashion shows, NFT backed multimedia, virtual hotels and restaurants, and virtual clothing, footwear and perfumery.

Mike Condoudis, a USPTO licensed trademark attorney and a member of the US Supreme Court bar, shared details of the application on his Twitter account.

Recently, several fashion brands, including DKNY, PSG, Cher, Tommy Hilfiger, Saks Fifth Avenue, Coach, Levi’s, Versace, Brooks Brothers, Hugo Boss and J. Crew, have also submitted patent and trademark applications for entry into Metavars. Brands want to offer virtual clothing, footwear, home decor items, NFT and digital collectibles.
