American fashion company PVH Corp has hired Michael Calbert to BoD

PVH Corp., an American clothing company, has announced that Michael Calbert will join its Board of Directors (BoD), effective May 2, 2022. Calbert has served as chairman of Dollar General since 2016 and was previously a member of private equity firm KKR. & Co. LP, where he led the retail industry team from January 2000 until retiring in 2014.

Also, Calbert was previously the chief financial officer of Randall’s food market and began his career as a certified public accountant with Arthur Andersen worldwide. He has extensive experience in corporate finance, strategic business planning and accounting, especially in the retail industry, as well as being a director of publicly traded retail companies.

Henry Nassella has served on the board for 19 years, including the presiding director since 2007 and the chair since 2021 when it first took on an independent, non-executive role. Calbert is expected to replace Nassella if he is re-elected at the annual meeting, PVH Corp said in a media release.

The American clothing company has also announced that Nassella, its non-executive chair, will not stand for re-election at its June 16, 2022, annual meeting of stockholders. The changes are part of the board’s previously published refreshment process, the media release added.
