Decentland has launched its first Metaverse Fashion Week

Metevers Fashion Week (MVFW22) in Decentland has unveiled the future of fashion. More than 70 participating brands, artists and designers, including AI and robots, luxury wearables, ‘physical products’ and immersive experiences, are coming together to be a part of MVFW22, a milestone event in the global fashion industry, ending March 26.

During MVFW22, Decentraland will make its debut in several community-driven neighborhoods within the newly created fashion district. In each of these places, brands and designers will showcase their catwalks, panels, galleries and more.

NFT designer Vauxbox showcases its latest products on the Metavers Fashion Week runway. The presentation was the first public appearance on Voxbox’s offerings, including two wearable robot skins for use in the Decentland Metavers. The company is launching its NFT wearable VoxBox # 0000 in the Decentland Marketplace.

Fashion brands Charles & Keith are also participating in Metavers Fashion Week. Its booth, located in a luxury marketplace, will be open to the public on Metavers until April 14. Decorated with the brand’s spring floral print, the booth will feature icons of the season: candy-colored koya shoulder bags and playful tie-up Alex sandals. Avatars can explore pop-ups to watch Spring 2022 campaign videos and try to use digital wearables like a physical store experience. Charles and Keith said in a media release that guests also have the option of visiting the company’s official e-commerce channel to purchase physical products of what their avatars are wearing.

“Decentreland is a virtual social world for everyone, anywhere. Metavers Fashion Week serves as the perfect, memorable event to introduce to the world the philosophy behind what we create. It’s a place built and run by the community. Via MVFW22 “We try to broaden the horizons of what is meant by ‘metaverse’. We have leveled the playing field for the fashion world and reduced the limitations. Even in metaverse, you will need a ‘fit’.” Sam Hamilton, creative director of the Descentland Foundation.
