Hublot releases a golden tiger

Hubble is roaring to start the Lunar New Year with the Spirit of the Big Bang Carbon Gold Tiger, a watch that mimics the Big Cat star of the year of the Tiger. The 42mm barrel-shaped watch, Hublot’s 42mm Spirit of Big Bang collection includes a specially designed model, a gold striped case and a black striped rubber strap.

Hublot, which uses ‘Fusion’ to blend watchmaking materials for aesthetic and technical reasons, blends carbon fiber and 18-carat yellow-gold to create a unique finish to this model. And the technical process will not give the two matching patterns like wild tigers. The ‘Fusion’ will create a different shiny gold case pattern for each of the 200 spirits of the Big Bang Carbon Gold Tiger watch made by Hublot.

Hublot continues the Tiger Year theme on the watch strap. A rubber strap included with the watch is shaped to mimic a tiger’s stripe. Wrapped by a black ceramic and black-plated titanium depot hug, the strap can also be transformed into a supplied yellow-gold colored, velcro-tied fabric strap.

Inside the Hublot Fit is a nice self-winding skeletal chronograph, the reference HUB4700, a high-frequency movement that boasts a silicon escape and a 50-hour power reserve. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters.
