International Fashion Week Dubai (IFWD) has achieved a groundbreaking feat by introducing NFT, one of the largest fashion shows in Dubai. The move follows the great success of International Fashion Week Dubai with plans to enter e-commerce after the first B2B session of the event, which was attended by buyers, investors and brands of IFWDS13.

The event began with an exclusive opening gala dinner featuring the presence of royal families from different countries such as Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum Al Maktoum and Sheikh Jawaharlal Nehru Khalifa Al Khalifa. IFWD Season 13 Fall / Winter 2022 features regional and international designers worldwide. Lots of fashionistas and celebrities gathered at the IFWD S13 in person to celebrate the 2022 Autumn / Winter Collection in a 4 day event.

Among the designer collections at the event are Walid Ataullah (Lebanon), Juan Gerardo de Lascurain Gosler (Mexico), Khaleej Times, Marksena (Poland) ‘s La Vitta Prei, Nicolata Galler Mason (Romania), Uzbek. , Ideal, Indifri Couture), Hanayen Emirati Abaya, Huzior Galleria by Iwona Huzior (Poland), Butterfly Couture by Rashida Yamani (India), Marlu, Noza Nova by Paulina Lecka (Poland), FUSSÉT, Amstone Amber (Poland) and others.

Galleries Lafayette Paris, the event’s headline sponsor, has partnered with IFWD for two seasons in Dubai, which will also move to International Fashion Week Paris during IFWP in September 2022. Galleries Lafayette is a high-end French department store chain and the largest in Europe, housing more than 3,500 brands across multiple departments.

IFWD raises the bar by launching an e-commerce marketplace where brands and designers can benefit from sales. The official B2B forum was also launched at the event as a dedicated day, allowing all participating businesses to engage with real buyers, investors and the media. International fashion and excellence awards were also given to 20 influential designers during the show.
